In the 1960s, Tracy Turnblad, an obese girl who was crazy about rock music, participated in a radio show and became a dance queen. The famous girls in the same school were very jealous of her, and tried every means to slander Tracy, but Tracy became more and more famous, and even robbed the girl's boyfriend. In order to increase her dance skills, Tracy went to the black area to learn dance and took her black friends to participate in the show, but she was opposed to the movement and was arrested by the police. In the end, the anti-racism campaign was successful, and Tracy eventually completely occupied the throne of the Queen of Dance.
