Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Insufficient plot

The director gave up many funny little magic gadgets in the original book, and without the neurotic divination teacher Professor Plautney, those cute ghosts floating around also collectively "take leave" in this episode. In addition, Harry's hazy admiration for Qiu Zhang, the distress after a broken relationship, and the funny triangle relationship between Ron, Hermione, and Krum were not handled with enough detail.
The incoherent plot is also one of the flaws of the film. The opening Quidditch World Cup jumped too fast, Krum made his appearance, and the camera shifted to the wizard tent to celebrate the Irish team's victory, which made many spectators overwhelmed. In general, the film is biased towards the Hollywood-style filmmaking formula: the scene is huge and the story is simplified, thus sacrificing many unique little tastes of the British. I am dissatisfied with the paleness of the story, thinking that it is not as good as the exquisite texture of the first and second episodes.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire quotes

  • Dumbledore: Do you know who I am? Do you?

    Professor Moody: Albus Dumbledore.

    Dumbledore: Are you Alastor Moody?

    Professor Moody: ...no.

  • Professor Moody: What was it like? What was he like?

    Harry: Who?

Professor Moody: The Dark Lord. What was it like to stand in his presence?

Harry: ...I dunno... It was like I'd fallen into one of my dreams. Into one of my nightmares.

Professor Moody: Were there others? In the graveyard, were there others?

Harry: ...I don't think I said anything about a graveyard, Professor.
