Drug addict Kelly Bucknell (Morgana O'Reilly) and her companions rob an ATM and are caught by the police. After that, she was sentenced to eight months in home confinement by a judge. Kelly's hometown is located in a remote town, and her mother Milia (Rima Te Wiata) is now living with another man. After being fitted with surveillance devices, Kelly lost her freedom and could only curl up in this old and dilapidated house every day. One day, when she was listening to the radio, she accidentally discovered that her mother had called the radio station, and Miria claimed to have seen ghosts in the basement of her home, which made her panic. Kelly has always been disgusted by her mother's words and deeds, but within a few days, she really encountered a series of strange events. Under the circumstances that escape is prohibited by law, Kelly can only turn to Amos (Glen-Paul Waru), a security guard who is interested in paranormal events.
