"I Confess" is another film about clearing away unjust, false and wrong cases, and the biggest feature of the film is that the case is told to the audience from the beginning, and the injustices suffered by the characters are not clarified until the last minute. However, even though the final answer was stated in advance, the suspense of how to clear the grievances still exists, and with the development of the film, all the evidence discovered by the police and the testimonies of people are detrimental to the protagonist Logan. Through the audience's sympathy for Logan, Hitchcock constantly challenged the audience's moral integrity, that is, whether people can maintain moral chastity in the face of life and death. The line in the film mentioned that "the duties of priests involve responsibility and ethics." On the other hand, the judge emphasized that the jury "don't influence the verdict because of the priest's position of the defendant." Priests must perform their duties, while the law does not care about ethics. Hitchcock once again emphasized the dubiousness of legal justice. In the film, Father Rogan is a superman of will, a superman of the moral and ethical world, just like the moral hero of Jin Yong Gulong's novels   .
