The light-hearted tone tells heavy political stories, and even the capture of a section uses a comedy bridge. The color tone is too beautiful to wash your eyes.

A very Ken Rocky-style biopic, with a calm and steady narrative, telling about the changing historical events and the characters of the era. The protagonist, James Gladton, is a dashing communist gentleman whose charisma is as popular as his ballroom, unlike many of the communist leaders we know well. It is said that this is Ken Loach's last feature film, the standard is acceptable, and the evening festival can be guaranteed.

James Gralton: We need to take control of our lives again. Work for need, not for greed. And not just to survive like a dog, but to live. And to celebrate. And to dance, to sing, as free human beings.

Father Sheridan: We have the Redemptorist Fathers coming to the parish for a mission. What if I was to bring around a doctor of divinity into your house, to explain to you where Gralton is leading you astray?
Mossie: What if I was to bring a doctor of economics round to your house, Father, and explain to you where you're going astray?
