● "Bedevilled" is a work that "flowers inside the wall and outside the wall". It appeared at the Cannes International Film Festival and won an award at the Bucheon International Fantasy Film Festival. In Cheol-soo Jang's view, the completion of the film can be described as dangerous. Fortunately, the film festival was like an olive branch. When it was shortlisted for Cannes, the film was edited and Bucheon won the award, paving the way for the film's later release.
●In the face of numerous praises at the French exhibition, Cheol-soo Jang said: “When a movie is shown at overseas film festivals, it is like drawing a portrait of a mother for the teacher in an art class, and showing it in China is like taking this portrait. For the mother herself, the affirmation obtained at this time is moving."
● Cheol-soo Jang said that when he participated in the filming of " Hae anseon " in 2002 , he was quite touched by the background of the "isolated island", which directly contributed to the idea of "Bedevilled".
