This film is a bit of a casting failure. The actors of Caesar and his friend Joey are 16 years apart, they look like two generations, and Robinson's aura is too strong. When he was not the leader of the gang, he was already like a boss! The most exciting place in this piece is the many visits of the inspector, each time he is admonishing Caesar to return from the lost. 2 is the part of Caesar giving a speech and taking a photo at the celebration, and Leng Touqing and complacent take off. 3 is the face value of Little Fairbank, so beautiful. 4 is the acting skills of Edward Robinson, who plays Caesar, and fully interprets a self-righteous and self-sufficient person who is ambitious and stunned. 5 is the introduction of the gang members. 6. The detective used aggressive tactics to expose Caesar's position. When he was finally arrested, he fell under the dance sign of his friend Joey and his girlfriend, which was heartbreaking and heartbreaking. A bit of a gay reference, but I feel like I've watched too much to fully appreciate it. Not so gangster film, more of a broken American dream! The structure is almost meaningless, a little fragmented, especially when Tony had a nervous breakdown, begging his mother to accompany him, and then when he was killed in front of the church, warmth and shock coexist, a bit abrupt

Rico's gangster career history is simply completed by rockets faster than light. Otherwise, you would be like "Underworld" omitting the family history, or you would be like "The Godfather" made into a three-hour face-blind man film.

Caesar Enrico Bandello: Dancing's all right for a sideline. It gives you a swell front. But it ain't my idea of a man's game.
Joe Massara: What's the difference, Rico? As long as I ain't kicking, why should you kick?
Caesar Enrico Bandello: Who's kicking?
-
Caesar Enrico Bandello: I kind of took pride in you, Joe - brought you into the gang, pushed you ahead. But now you're getting to be a sissy.
