The protagonist of the film, Sam Kidds, is not a dramatic image made out of nothing, but a real historical figure. Sam Kidds was born in Dakota in 1962. He was originally a gangster who did all the wrong things. Later, their family moved to Minnesota. State, during that time, Kidders was still relatively normal. However, during the time when Kidders was in college, he had undergone a fundamental change, beginning to smoke, smoke marijuana, and drink heavily. He eventually became an addict, drug dealer, and alcoholic. At the same time, Kidders fell in love with drag racing. He was also a member of the famous Hell Angel Motorcycle Club. In 1998, Kidders really went to Africa, where he rescued local orphans on his own, and also with himself. His wife Linn together established an international children’s aid station called "Angels of East Africa". In 2009, Sam Kiddes wrote his own experience into a book called "Another Man’s War".
