Make Way for Tomorrow evaluation action

"Make Way for Tomorrow" is the sincere work of the famous American director Leo McCarey, and was included in the list of 75 overlooked masterpieces in the history of film selected by the British "Sight and Sound" magazine. Leo McCarey, Lubitsch and Sturges are the three most important comedy directors in the early days of American sound films. Chinese audiences are all familiar with "Golden Jade Alliance", "Duck Soup" (1931), "The Wind and the Moon" and "The Merry". The Affair" and then came from the master's hand. And "Make Way for Tomorrow" is considered by many to be his most outstanding work. It is said that it indirectly inspired Yasujiro Ozu's immortal "Tokyo Story". It is interesting to watch the two films together.
