The visual effects of "Maleficent2" have been greatly upgraded, and the lens has a more humane temperature. It escapes the feeling of distance from reading the first story book, and the film has a more cinematic atmosphere. Although the story itself is still a little too thin, but a few scenes are refreshing, with the carefully crafted costume design, the overall picture is very beautiful and energetic. From the scenes, costumes, soundtracks, to the body and dialogue interactions between the characters, the Dark Elf Cavern is like a well-designed dance, which is fascinating.
The emotional entanglement between the three female characters of Maleficent, Princess Arlo and Queen Ingris is the focus of the story of "Maleficent2". But the monotony of the plot and narrative of "Maleficent 2" may make the audience a little bit out of the play. But it cannot be denied that the magnificent fantasy world of elves in the film creates a visual feast.
The impressive visual effects of the film and the cast of characters worth watching make this popcorn fantasy film interesting. The best thing about the film is that it returns to the essence of a genre film to create a truly wonderful fantasy world.
Compared with the first one, the ending of the film is an improvement, and it also issued an exciting battle cry against fear and narrowness, but its expression is still too crowded, complicated and strange to match the elegance of the heroine.
Every imaginable design of "Maleficent2" is designed to satisfy young audiences without creating tension and suspense. The moment of real danger did not reach a dramatic climax.
