He can only recall bits and pieces of the past by relying on small pieces such as tattoos and Polaroid snapshots. Moreover, whenever he finds some valuable clues, He must use all methods to record it immediately, because it is likely that after ten minutes, he will not be able to remember where he is or what he is doing.

I still don't like watching this kind of turning film. At least the slow progress of the previous hour made me sleepy, and it didn't show up until the last half an hour. In the final analysis, Reiner is looking for the meaning of survival and continue to make it.

In fact, it is flashback and re-editing, and the fun is only in the last paragraph.

Memento quotes

  • Teddy: [to Leonard] All you do is moan. *I'm* the one that has to live with what you've done. I'm the one that put it all together. You, you wander around, you're playing detective. You're living a dream, kid. A dead wife to pine for. A sense of purpose to your life. A romantic quest that you wouldn't end, even if I wasn't in the picture.

  • Leonard: That's Sammy, not me. I told you about Sammy.

Teddy: Yeah, right. Like you tell yourself over and over again. Conditioning yourself to remember. Learning through repetition.
