Central Intelligence Agency official Ava Geller ( Michelle Monaghan ) discovered that a man (Mahdi Derby) had gained international attention by disrupting public order, so she began investigating the man's identity. As he attracts more and more followers who think he is doing miracles, the global media is becoming more and more obsessed with this charismatic character. Geller must solve this mystery as soon as possible: Is he a saint sent by God or a liar who can disrupt the world's geopolitical order? As the story unfolds, multiple perspectives are intertwined, including an Israeli intelligence officer ( Tomer Sisley ), a Texas missionary (John Ortiz), and his daughter (Stephania Owen) ), a Palestine refugee (Sayed El Alami) and the reporter who reported the story (Jane Adams). Melinda Page Hamilton, Ville Travel, Faris Landulisi, Demont Moroni and Bo Bridges also participated in the series.
