Modern Times behind the scenes gags

This film is the last silent film directed by Chaplin, because he believes that using funny and exaggerated body language is far better than dialogue. Therefore, he only added a soundtrack and a little sound to the film.
Some scenes about the use of drugs in prison appeared in "Modern Times", but according to the American film censorship system at that time, such performance was very risky.
It is said that one of the endings that he had already filmed was: Charlie was finally sent to a psychiatric hospital with a neurological disorder, and the girl who came to visit her became a nun. Chaplin later felt that this ending was "too painful" and took a usual route.
After the film was released, it caused groups of international capital forces to counterattack because the film vilified the image of capital owners to a certain extent.
