In the 1950s, the 12-year-old Ingmar’s father left home and worked somewhere in the equator. Ingmar and his motherand brotherlived together, but her mother was, was seriously ill and was bedridden for many years, and the dull family atmosphere made Ingmar depressed. Her brother often bullied her and her beloved puppy, Ingmar and her brother. The boy couldn't get along at all, and he often fought back at home. The lonely Ingma and his favorite puppy Sika became his happiest time.
