The movie's cinema audience score (CinemaScore) is "B", and the popcorn index is 57%, which is a poor reputation. The film's media evaluation is also the main one. The 101 media included on the Rotten Tomatoes website have a freshness rate of only 19%, with an average score of 3.8; 34 media outlets of MetaCritic have a low score of 27.
Despite the capable Chris Columbus as the director, the film was not as original as expected.
What is really puzzling is why the film so desperately caters to the feelings of the new generation, without considering that the children of the Reagan era are still becoming mature.
The film is basically a mixed version of "Ghostbusters" and "Invincible Destruction King", but it failed to absorb any of the advantages of those two films.
"Pixel Wars" is a movie with no IQ, no humor, speechless, full of nauseating content.
In 2010, Patrick Jean directed the short film "Pixel Invasion of New York City", which lasted only two and a half minutes, reshaped classic arcade games such as "Little Bee" and "Donkey Kong" in the 1980s, and put it on the Internet overnight. The number of clicks in between exceeded one million, which immediately attracted the favor of Hollywood manufacturers and the attention of arcade fans around the world. In order to solve the copyright problem of Pac-Man and other characters, the "Pixel Wars" crew spent a lot of effort, so almost five years later, this heavyweight masterpiece "Pixel Wars", a collection of classic arcade characters from the 1980s, finally came out.
