Twenty-two years ago, Norman Bates assassinated Marilyn, a female tenant in the shower, in his hotel, and was imprisoned in a mental hospital for 22 years. Now, the California government has decided to let him reintegrate based on the doctor's diagnosis, and after his release, he returned to the dilapidated hotel on the hills. Norman finds a new job at a local restaurant as a chef's assistant, so he meets Mary, a young waitress, and the two fall in love. But not long after, Norman saw his dead mother in the window of his house. Then, a series of murders occurred in the town. Could these murders be Norman's actions? Is he really healed?
