Thomas Elliott, the actor of the first season, was still selected as the protagonist when the film was being prepared. Later, because of the schedule and Thomas himself, it was eventually replaced by George Raymond Stevenson.
· The character Microchip in the original comics that appeared in "Punisher: War Zone2" was initially considered for appearing in the first episode of "Punisher: War Zone". But because of director Jonathan Hansley's personal aversion to this role, he was abandoned.
·Doug Hutchison initially refused to participate in the film, because he could not understand the script and could not imagine how to play the role of lunatic BinJim. Director Lexis Alexander finally called and insisted on the invitation. After reconsidering, Doug Hutchison finally played the role.
·The name of the hotel called "Brad Street Hotel" that Frank entered in the trailer comes from the name of the comic book author of Punisher: War Zone-"Timothy Bradstreet".
