There is something terrible hidden in Umbrella’s old nest, the huge underground genetic research center of the honeycomb, where mysterious bioengineers gather. A deadly virus broke out and spread quickly. Alice, who was temporarily amnesia, woke up in her bathroom and encountered a task force composed of Eric Mabis and Rennes. The task force arrested Eric Mabis, took him and Alice into the hive and closed the Red Queen. However, the team members soon discovered that these staff members were not really dead. They have become greedy zombie-like living dead hovering in the "beehive". Once people are bitten by them or scratched by them, they will be infected, and even immediately become people like them.

Alice also quickly discovered that these zombies were the result of a variant of the T-virus, a result of the company's latest research program.
The initial design of T-virus is to fight aging and treat neurological diseases, and it has the ability to activate dead cells. Alice realized that it must have been a mysterious saboteur who stole the virus and released it into the hive air. This is how the crisis erupted.
In the face of this giant computer, Rehn pretended to ask a red post to help them. The Red Queen agreed, but insisted that none of those infected were allowed to escape.
