Sleepy Hollow Shooting process

The film was filmed at thestudio on November 20, 1998. After several weeks of shooting the Van Tassel Manor, the crew rushed to the Shepperton Studios to begin construction Mysterious and deep forest. Under the guidance of production designers, art directors and others, 70 workers spent 12 weeks to complete the forest setting. The workers took molds from the oak trees inand made the setting with fiberglass and steel. A tree 30 feet tall. In order to take a close-up shot of the headless horseman, the special effects department modeled a real horse to make a mechanical horse. The whole process took several months.
The construction work in the town of Sleepy Hollow in the film took several months. The crew set up and filmed at Hamilton Manor, an hour’s drive north of London.
