In 2001, Robert Rodriguez made a film called "Very Little Agent", and two sequels were launched in the following two years. In the summer of 2006, during the pre-production meeting for Sin City 2, Robert Rodriguez talked about his other new film plans, including the fourth "Very Little Agent". In 2009, when Robert Rodriguez was filming the film "The Stone", he began to conceive the story of the fourth "Very Little Agent". During the subsequent filming of the movie "Scimitar", Jessica Alba happened to appear on the set with her one-year-old daughter, Oona Marie Warren, and suffered an "explosion" of Oona's diaper. Watching Jessica carefully changing her daughter's diaper and preventing the dirt from sticking to her body inspired Robert Rodriguez's story, and he thought "why not make a spy mom story". So, on September 25, 2009, "Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World" announced the start of filming, with Jessica Alba as the heroine of the film   .
