The director used Brosnan and Jovovich’s cat and mouse games as living teaching materials, from evading bomb attacks, escaping from gunners shooting, getting rid of mysterious tracking, smart phones for help, using resources of relatives and friends, and setting up a violent counterattack, and other strategic arrangements and tactics. Execution, telling everyone how to protect yourself or even unexpectedly turn defeat into victory in case of a similar crisis, it can be called a live-action anti-terrorism teaching manual.
Director James McTiger’s techniques are proficient. Although the processing in some places is slightly traditional, it can make the audience in the status of ordinary people feel the crisis in the film in the plot processing of the story that is grounded and realistic.
The film is a typical Hollywood action blockbuster, the content is mainly anti-terrorism, organically implanted in the recent combat against terrorism in European and American countries. In terms of character settings, "Survivor" sets the protagonist to have a sensitive olfactory nerve and professional anti-terrorism diplomats, and in view of the needs of the plot, the people around Mila are set to be Mila's "enemy" (Except for two people she can trust), this has forced Mila into a lonely anti-terrorist fighter, which greatly increases the conflict of comedy, and also improves the visibility of the plot, especially in sharp editing. Down, the action scenes, explosion scenes, and the thrilling level of the chasing scenes do not lose any classic Hollywood blockbuster.
