Adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. This film is a miniseries re-directed by the Scott brothers from the 2008 TV series. In the small town of Piedmont, Utah, a man and woman couple were dating on the mountain when an artificial satellite fell. The curious two brought the satellite back to the town, but they didn't know and brought the terrible suffering back to the town. Suddenly a terrible virus broke out in the small town, and people died for unknown reasons. To prevent the virus from spreading to other cities, the army blocked the town and sent a scientific team code-named "Andromeda" to investigate the source of the disease. The team members include: infectious disease scientist Jeremy (Benjamin BrattBenjaminBratt), outer space biologist Angela (Christa Miller), microbiologist Tsi (Kim Dae-hyun), pathologist Charlene (Viola Davis (ViolaDavis). At the same time, a reporter named Jack (Eric McCormack played by EricMcCormack) seems to be searching for ulterior secrets.
