In the early 1990s, Greg Malinovic, Joao Silva, Kevin Carter) and Ken. The 4 are bound together by a deep friendship, and the camera is the most powerful weapon they can find. They roamed the streets of South Africa devastated by apartheid, using their cameras to document all the brutality, bloodshed and violence behind the first free election. They plunged headlong into this exceptionally intense political period without regard for their personal safety, while also dedicating their best photography. Two of them won the Pulitzer Prize for this, but the price they paid for it was very painful.
