A female body mysteriously disappeared in the morgue. The guard was so frightened that he fled to the road and was hit by a car and fainted, unconscious. A police officer named Jaime Peñais responsible for investigating this case. He once watched his wife die in a traffic accident, leaving a huge shadow in his heart. He also has a daughter who has never seen her face. The missing female body is called Mayka Villaverde. She was once a successful business woman who was in charge of several companies. However, due to the loss of youth, she worried that her handsome husband would cheat, and threatened him by modifying the property contract and not allowing him to divorce. Husband Álex Ulloais a university professor. He seems not to be shocked that his wife died of a heart attack, which aroused the suspicion of Humei and other police officers. After finding a bottle of toxic chemicals in Alex's pocket, his conspiracy to poison his wife was exposed. Alex confessed to Humei that he fell in love with the young female student Carlaand couldn't help himself, so he decided to get rid of Maca. However, now that Maca's body is missing, Alex is worried that Maca is not dead. All this is just a trap for himself by this scorpion-like woman. Maca hired a private investigator and knew everything about him and Cara. Alex also secretly rejoiced that if Maca hadn't died, he would not be a murderer, and he would still have a chance to fly away with Kara. However, what he didn't expect was that there was a bigger conspiracy waiting for him.
