Two international terrorists broke into the headquarters of the International Health Organization in Geneva. They wanted to carry out a terrorist attack, but they were blocked by security guards. During the hunt, the police accidentally broke the glass bottle in the laboratory. The virus-containing liquid in the bottle splashed on two people. Both of them were infected by the deadly virus. One was captured on the spot and soon died of decay. One escaped onto a train bound for Stockholm. This virus spreads very fast and has a 40% mortality rate. Soon many passengers on the entire train were infected. In order to control the situation, the relevant authorities have strictly monitored the trains, not allowing all passengers to get off the train, not allowing the train to stop at any station, and closing all windows. In order to conceal and eliminate the virus, the International Police Department finally attempted to destroy The Cassandra Crossing, which led the train to the dangerous bridge, which could not bear the weight of the train.
A doctor at the International Health Laboratory found that high concentrations of oxygen might kill the virus. Scientists on the car also found that oxygen can cure infected people. However, the authorities did not believe it, and they still insisted on letting the train drive towards the bridge. In order to survive, the passengers on the train united and used force to resist, and the armed men who controlled the train started a fight for the train. After a firefight with the army on the train, the train was finally divided into two sections. The train in front crashed and exploded when crossing the bridge, and the other one came to a safe stop. In the end, most passengers never met. Raw   .

The Cassandra Crossing quotes

  • Col. Stephen Mackenzie: Good God woman! Do you think I would personally send a thousand people to their deaths?

Dr. Elena Stradner: No. But I think you'd simply let them be killed. And that's almost worse.

  • Col. Stephen Mackenzie: [On speaker phone] I don't have to tell you what we're up against!

Dr. Jonathan Chamberlain: What you're up against? I may be the only doctor for a thousand potential plague victims if I haven't caught it myself.

Col. Stephen Mackenzie: That's exactly why it's important to contain the disease now and why you'll all be heading for an isolation facility in Poland, where you'll get the very best...

Dr. Jonathan Chamberlain: In the meantime, what do you intend I fight it with? Aspirin?
