"The Face of an Angel" Stills Amanda Knox's murder took place in late 2007 and was a murder case that shocked Italy. Amanda Knox, from Seattle, Washington, USA, studied abroad at a university in Perugia, Italy . She was accused of brutally killing her roommate while studying abroad in Italy, known as the "Angel Face Killer". The case was announced in 2009, and Amanda was sentenced to 26 years in prison. In 2011, Amanda was released due to the inconsistency of the criminal evidence. Later, the ruling was overturned by the Italian Supreme Court for a retrial.
