"The Prom" does not directly tell the audience the truth that "differences should not block understanding and love", but instead conveys this point of view through infectious and beaming songs and dances. The film allowed Meryl Streep, James Kimberly Corden, and Nicole Mary Kidman to unleash and give full play to their acting talents in catchy songs and complex and interesting roles, while Joe Allen Perlman and Ariane Young actors like Debos also showed their singing and dancing advantages and emotional grasp in the film. At the same time, the ending of the film is indeed easy to foresee, and it seems more templated-pain will always pass and hatred will always dissipate. "The Prom" can be described as a passion show dedicated to the audience by Broadway, and it tells the audience the importance of unity and understanding
