The film is the most unknown and weirdest crazy satirical comedy film directed by Jim Abrahams, zucknuckle and Jerry Zucker. But its rich creativity made the film won the audience's love. The plot combines rock music and spy thriller, and the comedy creation is quite stable
.
The film is a spoof that combines the spy film of World War II and the movie of Elvis Twist. Obviously, after the peak of " Airplane! " in 1980 and the six-episode excellent TV series " The Naked Gun " in 1982, the jokes of Jim Abrahams and the Zac Brothers teamtemporarily ran out. As a result, it seems boring when it's time to be funny. In the face of comments, ZAZ admitted that it might not be wise to quote "obscure movies from the 1940s that no one has seen." In fact, after they quickly launched an air crash genre, "Top Secret!" felt like a dark comedy in slow motion. Although Val Kilmer was uncharacteristically cheerful in his first starring role, and the cow in the film did capture some of the old ZAZ’s style, but the storyline and the shots did not Did not show any hidden smiles
.
The film easily blends time periods from different eras and shows Val Kilmer's rare comedic transformation. As usual, the ZAZ team contributed a live-action version of "MAD" magazine film satire, and added stupid almost surreal jokes, as well as a series of amazing cultural references and a little bit of truly humorous conceit
