"Transformers 2" was released in Blu-ray and DVD at the same time after its release. The Blu-ray version has released a normal two-disc version and a giant screen version. The giant screen version contains two movie clips that are about 5 minutes long and shot with an IMAX camera. Because the huge screen version occupies a large capacity of the Blu-ray disc, some clips in the movie have to be deleted to store the huge screen version, and these deleted clips are included in the extravaganza disc. In addition, the Japanese version also released a limited edition of the bumblebee gift box, which comes with a bumblebee model. The US version has released a limited edition of the Optimus Prime gift box with a head model of Optimus Prime. Only a DVD version was released in Mainland China with Mandarin dubbing and simplified Chinese subtitles.
