The film's screenwriter and director Eli Craig and screenwriter Morgan Gargenson studied filmmaking in California, and wrote the script for the film after graduation in 2005.
In 2006, before the filming started, the producer Thomas Augsberg found that the script story was not monotonous and not boring, and that there were some spoofs and pranks that were in line with today's aesthetic trends, and many of them were in line with comedy and horror films. Kind of new content, so I decided to make this film.
