"Tully" feels like a mature and vibrant writer's work. While not superficial, it can naturally dig out humor in any plot
.
Theron's performance in the film can silence anyone who doubts her talent for comedy, the darker the better. As Tully, Mackenzie Davis's performance is remarkable
.
The realistic scenes in the film directly hit the pain points of the mother. The main creator wanted to create a frank, straightforward, and unpretentious film to express the most secret pain on the road to motherhood-not just physical. Efforts and discomfort, and even more psychological pressure is big enough to destroy the danger of reason. It has to be said that putting the above theme into a movie is a bold attempt, and the director and screenwriter not only succeeded in doing it, but also full of respect. Although there are design elements in the narrative, the processing is not necessarily seamless, and there are rough and impatient points, but the sincerity of "Tully" is visible to the naked eye
