Martin Rosen brought Richard Adams' classic novels to the screen in the form of animation, with a coherent plot and a simple style of painting. The film uses a group of rabbits to interpret a black Wagner-style story, narrative with some apocalyptic complexes: the rabbits have to face a man-made devastating disaster, and a foreseeable rabbit takes his friends to set foot on it. Journey of escape. Along the way, they escaped from foxes and snakes, avoided the dangerous train, and came to Watership Down. But for these rabbits, the biggest threat still comes from the rabbits themselves-because they lack understanding of the same kind, they are isolated; and without the female rabbits, this race would be difficult to continue. There is no movie in the history of the movie with such a cute animal as the protagonist that has such a cruel and black plot, but the indomitable fighting power and spirit of struggle contained in this movie is very suitable for children to watch.
