Chris (played by Desmond Harrington) received a job and had to rush to Raleigh, North Carolina, USA within three hours to use his newly repaired Mustang sports car on the highway. This shouldn’t be a problem. Unfortunately, he ran into a traffic jam after driving only a few miles and ran into a traffic accident on the highway. He got out of the car and inquired about it. It may take six hours for the road to clear again. In a hurry, Chris decided to take a long detour, bypassing the traffic jam, and then drove back to the Virginia highway.
Slowing down, Chris drove into the dirt road that crossed the highway. According to the map, it was about 20 miles long. Obviously, there are few cars on this road. Chris' Mustang drove up, picking up a cloud of dust, which is still a shortcut compared to a blocked highway.
Just ahead of this road, Jessie (Alyssa Dushu) and her friends Carly (Manuel Klick), Carly’s boyfriend Scott (Jeremy Sisto), Evan ( Kevin Joseph Zegers ), Evan’s girlfriend Francine (Lindy Booth)-standing stupidly on the side of the road, they were planning to go camping together, but Unexpectedly, the tires of the car on the road burst. In this remote forest, I can only stay on the side of the road and be helpless.
Chris drove around the dusty road. The green woods covered his head and cast terrifying shadows at dusk. This sparsely populated road was full of unknown signs. At a turning corner, Chris noticed a dead animal on the side of the road. The car suddenly lost control and hit an SUV (off-road SUV) directly in front of him.
It turned out that the car Chris hit was Jesse's and the others. Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash. Chris suffered only minor injuries and hurriedly apologized to Jesse and the others. Jesse took a barbed wire mesh taken from the side of the road and said that it’s okay, maybe. The crash was caused by these mysterious steel meshes. This incident seemed like a joke. Chris and Jesse were all very tired.
Everyone quickly walked together and decided to find a phone for assistance. After discussing, Evan and his girlfriend Franxing stayed by the car to look after, while the other four walked along the road. Gradually, they felt that the whole thing was not a joke. They found a mountain hut full of creepy weapons, and many extremely scary specimens: dozens of human bones soaked in a jar , Bloody severed hand and so on.
They concluded that the "people" living in this hut must have something to do with the mysterious barbed wire netting that caused the accident on the road. In fact, what they encountered was a terrifying mountain ogre. These four people didn't know that Evan and Franxing were dead. They were brutally chopped to death by three savages. Faced with threats and attacks from the mysterious mountains, the remaining four decided not to camp. However, the danger is not over. The ogres are bound to take their lives. They were hunted ruthlessly like prey.

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End quotes

  • [last lines]

Jake: Nice ride. You want to take it for a spin?

Nina Papas: Why not? It's the least this fucked up family owes us.

  • Dale Murphy: [notices dynamite] Who you blowin' up, old-timer?

Old Timer: Oh, just the trout. Only way to bring 'em to the surface. Dynamite stuns 'em. Then they float like lily pads, and I just scoop 'em up.

Dale Murphy: [notices picture of the man and his wife] Pretty wife.

Old Timer: Yeah, that's my Delilah. Gave me the happiest days of my life. God bless her soul. You know, you one lucky son of a bitch. Lotta folk go in them woods. Never seen one come out. I stay clear of them myself.

Dale Murphy: How many of those freaks are out there?

Old Timer: Hard to know. More than the ones you run across. That's for sure.

    Dale Murphy: What are they?

Old Timer: Oh, just like you and me, brother, 'cept uglier... and a lot stronger. Hey, I hit one of them young'uns once in my pickup. He popped up and just kept goin'. It's the chemicals changed 'em. Pulp mill shut down near 30 years ago... and left a mess. And the poison killed off all the game. Most folks 'round these parts left. There's one family that stayed on in this holler... and pretty soon their babies started gushin' out of their mama's womb... just as ugly as them trout I got hangin' out there. And then they grow up, have kids of their own. Turned out even worse. You gonna stay for a bite? Fish is ugly, but they fry up real good.

Dale Murphy: No. Much obliged, but I gotta get goin'.

Old Timer: Well, if you're gonna head out to get your friends, settle the score... best jump to it before it gets dark. You don't wanna be out in them woods at night.

Dale Murphy: Why do you stay, old-timer?

Old Timer: Well, I could never leave. Gotta stay close to my young'uns.
