"I Am Legend" is a post-apocalyptic science fiction film released in 2007, directed by Francis Lawrence and co-starred by Willard Christopher Smith Jr , Alice Braga and SalliRichardson . The film was released in the United States on December 14, 2007   . The main story of the film is that in 2012, human beings were finally destroyed by the virus. The former military virologist Rob Nefer (Willard Christopher Smith Jr) was the only one in New York City because he had natural antibodies in his body and was not infected. The survivors even thought that they were the only surviving humans in the world. Film according to Richard Matheson (Richard Matheson) of the novel of the same name, adapted from the book is the third of the films, but the film's story line and the second part of the movie adapted from the novel " at The Omega Man " (The Omega Man) is closer.
