District 9 Film Review: Lucky Avatar, Unlucky Prawn

It is also a time-travel into an alien, why is it so lucky to become an avatar, and so unlucky to become a prawn!

      Very thrilling film, very exciting!

The structure and the dramatic conflict are arranged very tightly, there is no procrastination, no emptiness, and no cold scene.

It may seem a little ordinary at first, but after seeing it, I found that it is a very good foreshadowing for the follow-up, which is very cool!

I have read some movie reviews, all...

Using aliens as victims of abuse makes it easier to expose the ugly face of a humanitarian interest group. The actor's performance is very good, and the transformation process from a naive and cowardly man to a man who fights back bravely is well performed. Compared with mecha blockbusters such as "Transformers", the plot of this film is simple, but the connotation is much more profound. Even if the heroic drama cannot be avoided at the end of the battle, it is very disturbing.

      When...

District 9 - Actually I just want to go home

The first time I saw the trailer on mtime, the subject matter was very interested in the
documentary style, which reminded me of "The Clover File"
and felt a little boring at first, but after seeing it, it felt very compact.
      The final feeling is... There
will probably be a second part.
Either tell why the flying saucer came to the earth, or tell what

happened to the film three years later... If you want to think about it, there will be a lot of content , and...

District 9 and the history of colonialism in South Africa

      Part I - Post-colonialism and South Africa
The narrator of the “documentary” in the film District 9 describes the aliens' landing over Johannesburg as a “surprise” to everyone, since normally you would expect this to happen “over Manhattan or Washington or Chicago”. The choice of this location is the first step in separating this film apart from all the other alien invasion films. And as we investigate it further, we can discover the political intention behind this peculiar yet pivotal...

I was peeling shrimp as I watched these "shrimp men" squirming and popping. . .

At the beginning and end of the film, the film echoes Wikus' naivety and joy and excitement when he was first appointed to this "sacred" job, as well as his happiness when he sees his wife as an angel and hope, and the loneliness and helplessness that follows. It forms a strong contrast with the tragic realm, which makes people sigh infinitely. And because of the lack of human nature, we can feel very happy when we see the infected Wikus and the aliens swarming human beings together. The film...

It's disgusting enough, but it's still five stars, the reason is that, like the fog, it makes me think deeply. I think mice are damned, polar bears think humans are damned. Different angles, different...

What is the most important meaning. . . The effect is good. The narrator is messy, both documentary and God-like. The bigger the spread, the more loopholes and the less comprehensive it is. It's like telling a lie, you have to make up for it with countless lies that follow. The short film feels so much...

It's a movie that's almost perfect but doesn't need to be perfect. The hand-held camera shot made the lens shiver like a god just right, real but not dizzying. As a non-traditional sci-fi film, the film is full of irony. Humans are still full of hypocrisy and arrogance while still unable to surpass aliens. In order to achieve personal goals, the cruelty and indifference to the same kind is enough to question the hearts of the...

Kind of bloody, kind of gross. But great. //20150124 Archives. I watched it on a small MP4 five years ago. Thought it was bloody disgusting at the time, but it was great and gave it five stars. Now revisiting it on the big screen, I am still shocked and moved to tears. The pseudo-documentary style makes the first half restrained and full of irony. The ending of the machine is slightly inconsistent, and it is also a little sensational. But as a director's feature debut, it's really amazing....

    Movie plot

Almost 30 years ago, alien creatures finally had their first close contact with the earth. While humans waited tremblingly for the fierce aggression and attack that the other side might inflict, or the leap forward in technology, I have never been able to achieve what I wanted. It turns out that these alien creatures have become the last group of survivors because their planet was ravaged by war. They came to the earth not to invade or...

    Behind the scenes gags

The film was performed by director Neil Blomkamp based on his short film "Aliens in Johannesburg". The film is also Neil Blomkamp's first feature film.
The title of the film is based on a recent rumor in the United States. For decades, it has been rumored that the United States has the 51st area, which is responsible for handling alien affairs, but this news has not been officially recognized. The meaning of "District Ninth" also...

    Creative background

This movie is actually an upgraded version of director Neil Blomkamp’s 2005 work. The short film called "Aliens in Joburg" was written and filmed by Neil Blomkamp, about the conflict between aliens and local residents in Joburg. Johannesburg is actually Johannesburg, and Schalto Copley has also changed from the starring role of "Joborg Aliens" to the starring role of "The Ninth District". In fact, this film produced 6 different...

    Multiple social consciousness

The relationship between film and reality is an allegorical relationship rather than a mirror or photographic relationship. It should be a one-to-many relationship with the finiteness of the form versus the infinity of the meaning. "The Ninth District" saw too many problems that people dare not face in reality, such as racial discrimination, the gap between the rich and the poor, and the alienation of the relationship between people....
