"The Big Short" is a biographical feature film released by The United States of America Paramount Pictures, Inc. , directed by Adam McKay , Christian Charles Philip Bale , Steven John Carell , Opie , Brad Pitt , Kaz , Melissa Chessington Leo , Marisa Tomei , Rafe Spall and John Magaro co-starring. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Lewis . It tells the story of four weird men who seized the opportunity during the American financial crisis to make profits from the global economic recession, and at the same time they tried to prevent the global economic recession. The film was released in The United States of America on December 23, 2015   , and won the 88th Academy Awards for Best Adapted Screenplay in 2016   .

"Persepolis" is an animated film released by Sony Classics on June 27, 2007. The film is co-directed by Vincent Palande and Marjane Satrapi , with Chiara Mastroianni and Catherine Deneuve as the main voice actors . The film is based on the picture book novel of the same name created by Marjane Satrapi . The film tells the story of the 9-year-old girl MarjaneThe story of the period. 

"The Duchess" is a feature film released by Paramount Advantage, directed by Saul Dibb and co-starred by Keira Christina Knightley , Ralph Fiennes, Hayley Atwell and Dominic Cooper. The film was released in the UK on September 5, 2008   . The film is based on Amanda Furmanguang's novel and tells the story of the talented and ambitious Giorgio Anna.

"Operation Mekong River" is a police and bandit action movie produced by Bona Film Group Limited. Huaxia Film Distribution Co., Ltd. , Blue Star Films, etc. , written and directed   by Dante Lam , Zhang Hanyu , Eddie Peng Yuyan , Joyce , etc. starring. The film is adapted from the "10.5 Chinese Crew Golden Triangle Murder Incident " (Mekong River Massacre)  , which tells the story of an action team to unravel the hidden conspiracy of the Chinese merchant marine crew members in an attempt to uncover the culprit behind the drug trafficking case   . The film was released in China on September 30, 2016   . The original schedule of "Operation Mekong River" was from September 30, 2016 to October 30, 2016. Later, it was decided to extend the nationwide key for one month, and the end of the release time was extended to December 4, 2016.  The film won The 36th Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Action Design and The 31st Golden Rooster Award for Best Feature Film .   

"Midway" by Roland Emmerich directed, at The Dinnerlady PIMP , Luke Evans , Patrick Wilson , Toyoetsu starring drama   . The film was released simultaneously in North America and Mainland China on November 8, 2019   . The film tells a series of stories about soldiers and pilots who participated in the battle of Midway Island, an important turning point in the Pacific War of World War II   .

"The Twilight Samurai" is a period film produced by Shochiku Film in 2003, directed by Yoji Yamada and starring Duke Sanada and Rie Miyazawa . The film was released in Japan on November 2, 2002. The film is adapted from Fujisawa Shuhei 's novel of the same name, telling the story of the samurai Iguchi Kiyobei, known as "twilight" at the end of the Shogunate in Japan   . The film was nominated for Best Asian Film at the 23rd Hong Kong Film Awards and Best Foreign Language Film   at the 76th Oscars  .

"Raise the red lantern" is a feature film produced by a Chinese film co-production company, directed by Zhang Yimou, starring Gong Li , Caifei He , Cao Cuifen , Kong Lin , Shuyuan Jin, etc. The film is adapted from Su Tong 's novel " Wives and Concubines in Groups ". The film revolves around the topic of feudal etiquette and tells the story of several concubines of a large family in the Republic of China who were jealous and caused a series of tragedies. On March 13, 1992, the film was released in North America and set the highest box office record for a Chinese-language film in North America at that time with a box office of $2.6 million. In 1991, the film won the Silver Lion Award at the 48th Venice International Film Festival  . In 1992, it was nominated for Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film, becoming the second Chinese film to be nominated for this award after " Ju Dou ". Subsequently, it won the David di Donatello Best Foreign Language Film, becoming the first Chinese film to win the award. In 1993, it won the Best Foreign Language Film at the British Academy Film Awards . In 2015, it was ranked 28th among the 100 best foreign language films in film history by the British "Empire" magazine, which is the highest-ranked Mainland film.

"My Father and Mother" is a romantic film directed by Zhang Yimou and starring Zhang Ziyi , Zheng Hao and Sanlang . Based on Bao Shi 's novel "Memorial", the film tells the story of mother Zhao Di and father Luo Changyu knowing each other, falling in love with each other, separating, and finally staying together for a lifetime   .

"Andrei Rublyov" is a biographical film directed by Andrey Arsenyevich Tarkovsky and starring Anatoli Solonitsyn . It was released in December 1966. The film is divided into two parts, eight fragments, roughly in chronological order, telling the ups and downs of the painter Andrei Rublyov, pursuing the life of faith.

"Barry Lyndon" is a feature film directed by Stanley Kubrick and starring Charles Patrick Ryan O'Neal Jr. and Marissa Berenson . It was released in the UK on December 18, 1975. Based on Thackeray’s novel of the same name, the film tells the story of Irish youth Barry trying to marry the noble widow Mrs. Linden in order to enter the upper class from the bottom of the army, and start a life gambling story   .
