The exterior scenery of the movie is very beautiful, with harbors, forests, and snow-capped mountains. The island in the story, San Piedro, is a fictional island located in the northern part of Puget Sound.

"Becoming Julia" is a comedy film directed by István Szabó , written by Ronald Harwood , W. Somerset Maugham and starring Annette Bening and Sean Evans . It was released in the United States on September 3, 2004. The film tells the story of Julia, the female lead singer of the opera house, who wakes up from a false love and regains the top of her life through hard work   .

It tells the story of a 19-year-old typical American girl who went to London to find her aristocratic father, but made a series of jokes   .
