      Just love this version!

The film made in 1930 must be old, the use of the camera lens is a bit ridiculous, and some dialogues are like reciting lines. In the 1979 edition, the bird is drawn as a long thin line, echoing back and forth, making the whole film appear more compact. From an artistic point of view, this is a height that the novel has also failed to reach (the novel has neither the bird nor the last butterfly). The 79 version is even more shocking in showing the huge consumption of manpower by war....

I don't expect to surpass it, but the degree of completion can be

The original 1930 film was too classic and shocking to expect the remake to surpass it. However, the narrative of this version is obviously very sincere. It can be said that it is very different from the original style. The story is told more delicately and patiently. There are many plot branches that were not there before. The performance of the actors is good, except that the war scenes become It's colored, and the rest is almost no improvement from 49 years ago... The slightly changed...

The war movie I watched that winter

A war movie I watched a long time ago was probably also winter. The winter in the war movie is very cold, the German winter in this movie is very cold.

"All Quiet on the Western Front", a name that sounds historic and official. Watching the protagonist abandon school to join the army to prepare for the war, experience the smoke of gunpowder and the war, it is difficult to touch family affection and easy reunion in the war years, most of the plot is out of date and suddenly wonder,...

Really anti-war films, still have to rely on uncle and aunt

First respect the original work, a novel published by a German in 29 years.
My god, it was written by a German, written in 29 years.
That year, the world officially began an economic crisis, Germany's economy and politics were in a mess, and Hitler's NZdang began to gradually get more votes... The
original author published an anti-war novel about the First World War more than ten years ago.

World War I is probably the worst war in history. According to the history...

Cha classmate boy, in full bloom

A classic anti-war film, but also a classic war film.
"Young classmate, young and prosperous", when I read it for the first time a few years ago, I couldn't help but think of the words of Mao Taizu.
"You shoulder the heavy responsibility, you shoulder the heavy responsibility of the country", why are the words in the classroom before graduation at the beginning of the film so familiar.
In the end, the protagonist, accompanied by the cheerful bird song, fell into...

The whole narrative is completely broken up, the characters are introduced more clearly, and there are many long shots, but the beauty of the shots is not as good as the 1930...

The actors were chosen very well. It is rare to have such a good post-adaptation version. The part of going home is really a reminder. But if Kat doesn't die, Paul will always have the comfort and hope of living. This old soldier who has protected him all the way and is like a father and brother, so Kat must die, and it is not educational for them to go back to live together after the war. Comparing the 30-year-old original version and several World War I themes of the same year, it is all...

It belongs to the classics of that era. The filming of war, because there is no superb technology as the basis, is more realistic and shocking, what a cruel war, what a pity for a generation of young people! I am so fortunate to have been born in a time of...
