      Ordinary greatness

Watching the whole drama spanned nearly two years. For the first time, I only watched one episode. I went to Luo Wen and RP. At that time, I didn't have any feelings for this drama. I just felt that it was a good choice to understand British history from the side. At that time, JB's Fu Tan Ji and DW captured all my thoughts, and the Black Jazz who had more than four seasons really had no time to chase.
Picking up again is also a whim.
I heard that the production of the first season...

This is how history rolls down...

In the past two months, I have watched 4 seasons and 24 episodes of Blackadder with an episode of 1~3 days in the past two months, plus a special Christmas edition and a 99 year ending...After watching this is called the greatest British drama in history... . For Mao is the greatest.... Just look at the cast and you will know... What did these guys do later... Let me sort out my thoughts...

1983->85->87 ->89...The order of these four parts in my mind should be 3>4>2>1...Although the...

Give the comedy a tragic ending

In four years, four generations, Black Sir’s brains are getting smarter, but his status is getting lower and lower.

In the first season, it was a small and weak prince who was not seen in history. He wanted to kick his brother as the prince, but he was only a short-lived king for a few minutes.

In the second season, it is the jester next to Elizabeth I. It takes great pains to keep the head of Xiang Shang.

The third season is the steward of the regent George. Facing the...

Black Adder, Black Adder, with many a cunning plan

(It’s been a long, long time since I wrote a drama review. It’s mainly lazy, and then I don’t have the urge to vomit. But occasionally by reminding myself that some of my previous reviews are useful to others, I feel like communicating through time and space, so I don’t remember who recommended it. I saw a post on Tucao blackadder about Tucao magic, so I found this 80s drama in station B. I have some inexplicable favor with the stories in the western historical background, coupled with the...

      Helplessness under war

I finally couldn’t stretch myself when I saw George say that he was scared in the last episode of Season 4. In fact, I think he knows the truth about the war, but he chooses to believe in those beautiful and noble beliefs, even those Faith is something that the ruling class preaches in order to seize benefits. A blindly optimistic fool, a cynical sober, who can't resist chess pieces under war, no one is worse than others. When chess pieces are overthrown on the battlefield, the person who...

The ending of the comedy is full of tragic atmosphere. Looking at the four seasons, these people are real, and many things can be experienced without saying. My favorite in this season is actually Captain Darling played by Tim McInnerny, this role is much more suitable than Lord Percy Percy╮(╯_╰)╭ In order to dispel the sad atmosphere, let's follow Uncle Fried together...

The sharp highlights of previous seasons are the historical stalks and satires combined with the plot of the unit drama and the highly literary spit, as well as the plot line that tries to run through the seriousness in the comedy. In many places in this season, the boundaries between serious plots and funny comedies have been blended very well. It's so blurry that it finally reaches a different height, which is a little surprising. My previous understanding of Mr. Bean's acting skills was...

Because I knew the ending from the beginning, it was a bit depressing to watch, but indeed, the lines are still so delicate. By the way, was Britain so stupid to fight the Germans head-to-head during the First World...

    Movie quotes

    • Lieutenant George: But this is brave, splendid and noble...

      [Blackadder doesn't react - there's a long pause]

      Lieutenant George: ...Sir

      Captain Blackadder: Yes, Lieutenant.

      Lieutenant George: I'm scared, sir

Private Baldrick: I'm scared too, sir

Lieutenant George: I'm the last of the tiddly-winking leapfroggers from the golden summer of 1914. I don't want to die... I'm really not over keen on dying at all, sir.

Captain Blackadder: How are you feeling, Darling?

Captain Darling: Ahm- not all that good, Blackadder. Rather hoped I'd get through the whole show, go back to work at Pratt and Sons, keep wicket for the Croydon Gentlemen, marry Doris. Made a note in my diary on the way here. Simply says: "Bugger".

      Captain Blackadder: Well, quite.

[Outside: "Stand to, stand to, fix bayonets"]

Captain Blackadder: Come on, come on, let's move.

[at the door, Blackadder turns to George]

Captain Blackadder: Don't forget your stick Lieutenant

Lieutenant George: Rather, sir. Wouldn't want to face a machine gun without this.

[they walk into the misty trench, waiting for the off - suddenly there is silence - the machine guns stop]

Captain Darling: I say, listen - our guns have stopped.

      Lieutenant George: You don't think...

Private Baldrick: Perhaps the war's over. Perhaps it's peace.

Captain Darling: Thank God. We lived through it. The Great War, 1914 to 1917.

Captain DarlingPrivate BaldrickLieutenant George: Hip hip hooray!

Captain Blackadder: I'm afraid not. The guns have stopped because we are about to attack. Not even our generals are mad enough to shell their own men. They feel it's more sporting to let the Germans do it.

Lieutenant George: So, we are, in fact, going over. This is, as they say, it?

Captain Blackadder: Yes, unless I can think of something very quickly.

[a voice shouts 'Company, one pace forward.' They all step forward]

Private Baldrick: There's a nasty splinter on that ladder, sir. A bloke could hurt himself on that.

[another call: "Stand ready" - they put their hands on the ladders ready to climb]

Private Baldrick: I have a plan, sir.

Captain Blackadder: Really Baldrick? A cunning and subtle one?

      Private Baldrick: Yes, sir.

Captain Blackadder: As cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University?

      Private Baldrick: Yes, sir.

[another call: "On the signal, Company will advance"]

Captain Blackadder: Well, I'm afraid it's too late. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was better than my plan to get out of here by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman round here?

[a whistle blows he looks at Baldrick]

      Captain Blackadder: Good luck, everyone.

[Blackadder blows his whistle, there is a roar of voices as everyone leaps up the ladders, meeting the machine gun fire]

    • [repeated line]

Private Baldrick: I have a cunning plan.
