I don't know what kind of medicine Guy Ritchie's gourd sells, maybe it's the elusive relation in the first part that gave him such a strong hint that there's hardly anything more important than the relation in the second part . I haven't read Sherlock Holmes 1, but watched 2 directly, and found that it was really 2. The first half of the movie is spent half asleep and half awake. The boring plot, boring lines, only occasional laughs and the basic love between the male protagonists are not enough to dispel the heavy drowsiness.
