Life is too windy and frosty

I still remember watching a "Hundred Yuan Love" last summer, crying red eyes for the ending of the defeat, this summer is the turn of the American biopic "I, Queen of Flowers". It made me feel a little bit that there is no reincarnation in reality, there are only thousands of similarities.

When I saw this film, I thought it was a typical American sports inspirational film, but today I took it out and found that the chocolate that the director pulled out may not always be sweet.

The film tells the rough and short career of the former ice skating star Tonya through the perspective of different people in a dark humorous way. Laughing with tears, but also biting cold.

Tonya lived in a poor white family and her parents divorced when she was a child. The mother was indifferent and shrewd. After seeing her talent in figure skating, she pushed her to the coach. At the same time, she also kept forcing her daughter to train, insulting, punching, and kicking to take turns.

The pain of the original family made her leave her mother too urgently, and hastily married the same vulgar man. They had a brief sweetness, followed by countless arguments about domestic violence. In the end, the man's stupid mistake made Tonya suffer, and she was permanently banned from the game and ruined her life.

In fact, in an aristocratic arena like figure skating, competitors not only face technical challenges, but also the original noble image needs of figure skating. Most of the contestants come from wealthy families with dedicated ice rinks and coaches. They are pure and innocent girls or elegant and sexy women, and the figure skating industry also needs such identities as representatives.

So it's hard to believe that such a girl from the bottom has appeared in a flash. She is rude and full of foul-mouthed words. She can only sew her own clothes to practice at the public training ground. She loves rock punk and other alternatives, so even if she is the first competitor in history to complete three and a half laps on ice, she still cannot get enough recognition from the referee. So in order to succeed, in order to represent the "American with a harmonious family", she forced herself to reconcile with her mother and ex-husband, but finally let them ruin her dream and stop at the Olympics.

I often feel that movies are too dramatic. In fact, I occasionally think that life may be more ups and downs than movies, but the former is short-lived episodes that can easily highlight conflicts, while life will be too windy and frosty when connected with thousands of twists and turns. In the end, crying and laughing too much turned into indifference.

In this movie, some people will feel the evil of the original sound family, and some people will feel the hurt of the scumbag's early marriage, or the chaos of making friends. I feel that each single is really enough to make a paper, and the connection is the most exciting part of the movie and the most helpless part of life.

There is an American girl who has an American dream. She stumbled all the way, escaped the persecution of her family of origin, and was beaten by her husband. She turned to boxing and wrestling later, still scarred, this is her life and life, she can only laugh and swallow tears.

    Jeff: This is out'a control!

Shawn: Relax. Everything's great. Yes. My parents taped over my favorite Star Trek episode to record the CNN, but I'm keeping it together!

    Jeff: You're a fucking idiot!

  • FBI Agent #1: It's just a formality. We're talking to everyone.

    Tonya: We don't know anything.

FBI Agent #2: That must make life difficult.
