entertainment and clichés

A typical Hollywood commercial, even with Denzel Washington's performance, can't hide the cliché and dullness of its plot. Denzel Washington's character reminds me of Samuel L. Jackson's The Negotiator, a similar image of a negotiator, but the difference is the positioning of the two's personalities and technical abilities. Of course, Denzel Washington has also had a movie with a negotiator character, but the final image and plot are very different. In general, this movie doesn't have many disappointments, but it also doesn't have many bright spots. The bland plot and scenes certainly don't make much impression in many Hollywood blockbusters. The appearance of many characters and the setting of the plot are not followed. For example, Gabo's bribery investigation has little connection with the case itself, and the girl with video connection is basically not helpful to the police. The characters also tend to be stereotyped: incompetent politicians, jealous and persecuted and conceited and stupid leaders, calm and trustworthy negotiators, and unconventional robbers are basically inevitable for this type of film. Maybe my expectations were too high, this is just a typical Hollywood commercial.

Did the brain-dead robbers derive their basic love later? Have to let Heidan do a bukkake and comfortably say that you are the hero in my heart.

The Taking of Pelham 123 quotes

  • Ryder: Ok... now somebody else has to die. Two people, maybe all of us! Did you hear me?

Walter Garber: I heard you, but you gotta understand that the circumstances they're different now for you. You gotta rethink this, you... you gotta adapt.

Ryder: No, I gave you instructions and you know the consequences.

Walter Garber: I mean don't you have a plan B?

Ryder: No, plan B is enforcing plan A... and the minute you stop believing me mother fucker, that's it!

  • Police Captain Hill: So, who the hell did you fuck to get this job?

Walter Garber: Myself... was easier than it looked.

Police Captain Hill: Yeah... fucking yourself always is.
