This is a sci-fi movie with no special effects. The aliens who came by the light, after experiencing the infatuation with the doctor in the mental hospital, took the light of the doubts and longings in people's hearts. The open ending at the end of the movie leaves an infinite fantasy, which makes people look forward to the day when K comes back, but they also know in their hearts that that day may be far away.
