chauvinism

Although I believe in the power of faith, I feel that it is a long-term process of nurturing. Some special cases of the prodigal son returning cannot be ruled out, but the film itself does not show us this process, or that this process makes people feel too blunt and impractical.
In addition, I can't agree with the "spirit" promoted by the movie. The protagonist's self-"redemption" process. I feel more like changing from a violent street villain to another form of "villain", but such a "villain" is dressed in a beautiful coat, but in fact the damage it brings will not be offset by positive or negative . I remember that during the time when the red song was being sung, there were reports that a man had passed away before his mother went to Beijing to perform. He just held back his grief and persisted until the end. This so-called "letting a small family for everyone" and "love without boundaries" is essentially the same as what the film promotes.

The most memorable line is "You can live on relief funds"

The film should be titled "Saving Uganda" and "God Bless Sudan"... The protagonist's prototype is very valuable, but the film itself is pale, empty, cluttered and powerless... The film can only be rated 2 points...

The only abruptness is that the hero suddenly converts to God. . .

Machine Gun Preacher quotes

  • Sam Childers: In your actions you give service to the Lord he's not interested in your good thoughts... your good intentions... he wants your hands... your backs... your sweat... your blood to pour into the foundation that will build up his kingdom!

  • Ben Hobbes: You're that preacher, ain't ya? Yeah, you him. I seen your face in the papers a few years ago. Called you the machine gun preacher, right?

    Sam Childers: Yeah.

Ben Hobbes: [to his buddies] Told you this is the guy. Hot damn, I knew it. The paper's talking about you as some kind of a... an African Rambo or something, right?

Sam Childers: If you don't mind, I'd just like to sit here right now.

Ben Hobbes: You still helping them niggers over there? See, the way I figure it... the reason you're so interested in helping them porch monkeys is probably 'cause you throwing them in nigger ditches, ain't ya?

[Sam elbows him in the face]
