There are a lot of religious metaphors in the movie, but I don't think I need to read the Bible before watching this movie. A good movie should be able to gain more or less with patience, regardless of gender or nationality. The more generally accepted view regards "The Seventh Seal" as a great work on faith in the history of film. For atheistic moviegoers such as myself, the film can be viewed from another perspective on life and death and the meaning of life. Belief is not knowledge, but to believe. The knight in the movie doubts the existence of God with a skeptical attitude: Faith is really a punishment, just like you love a person, and that person is always in the dark, no matter how you call, he will not come out. He spent the day he won by playing chess with Death to find the meaning of life, and despite his constant doubts, he finally found it, which is to protect those who truly believe in faith and are full of joy.

#SIFF2018# The big screen rewatch, it is simply very satisfying. When the plague spreads and death looms, does God remove the fear from people's hearts? Can faith save those suffering souls? Faith has become irrelevant in the face of milk and strawberries.
