A gunman writer writes a memoir of a former British prime minister, only to discover by accident that the former prime minister's wife is an American spy. As a political thriller, the viewing experience is actually average, but when you watch this film in connection with the real British-American relationship (Blair), the director's encounter (Roman Polanski), etc., you have to admire the boldness of the material and the playability of the attitude. The protagonist knows that being involved in a political game as a small person will be doomed to a tragic end, but he still can’t help but explore and expose it, which is more helpless and sentimental than the conspiracy itself. .
