I have watched a lot of Japanese cruelty stories of youth
. I rarely see this in American movies. In my
impression, they are always sexy stunners. They have a lot of youth
that can be squandered. But this movie changed my memory of them and
reminded me of them. The director who made this film has also made a movie called "Lost in Translation", which is related to Japan. It made me wonder if this female director has a Japanese complex or has obvious Japanese worries. I can't blame me for thinking too much, only I blame this movie for being so similar to how I felt after watching Shunji Iwai's "All About Lily Zhou", feeling the demise of a flower-like life, my heart always provokes waves of stinging pain, the pain without a reason is
