This destroys and saves you

Generally speaking, the biggest difference between Western films and Chinese films is that they seldom "tell" the audience, and mostly "discuss" what. The director expresses his own point of view, or just reality, opens up the subject, and does not draw conclusions. It's not the usual brainwashing method of the Great Heaven Dynasty. No matter what the theme, even a brain-damaged commercial film, I will give you the ending of chicken soup for the soul.
Probably foreigners are more "unreasonable".
The whole of Western cinema, literature, music, religion, is supernatural, detached from the individual. Or, too "individual" to break away from society.
Chinese culture and even religion are all linked to secular interests, or the retribution of this life, or the welfare of the next life. In short, there is no heaven hanging high above the world in which we exist.
This is probably why Western cultures like to discuss the relationship between the universe, aliens, time and people. They like to be completely divorced from life and look inside from outside the world.
So many movies we don't understand, such as this one. It's simply human nature. For aliens, human nature is a useless and labor-intensive thing, a pure waste. So, when the lifeguard ran to rescue the desperate husband, he was exhausted, and the rescued husband had just escaped and fell into the sea. At this time, the alien woman just had to watch from a distance, and when the lifeguard was dying, she was shot dead with a brick.
This is human nature that is superfluous and obstructive in the eyes of aliens. All living things think about how to survive, but human beings die for others.
Here's where things took a turn, she let go of the deformed man, escaped the "hunting" hut, abandoned the car, followed advice, got on the bus, asked for help, enjoyed care, gained respect, learned to trust, tried to share, tried to experience the joy of being human.
What destroys and saves you, what pleases and hurts you, what wins trust but betrays you, is meaningless but has all the meaning, is worthless but has all the value, is human nature.

The traditional generalization of women is the earth, the ocean, the water, and a dark face. She is mysterious, warm, dark, and humid. The men who were seduced in the movie walked into the black water step by step, so quiet that they were swallowed by the mother of death.
When she left the abyss that nurtured and submerged, left the parasitism and absorbed the lives of others, when she learned to be a person, she lost the disguise that protected her, and was finally burned to death.
She was originally black submerged water, and finally was burned to death by the hot fire, and died in a white snow.

The soundtrack is charming, visually avant-garde, vague in meaning, and the beauty is not charming.

What exactly [under the skin] is talking about, I have absolutely no clue. This is a film written with interrogative sentences, which makes people wonder if there is a flower for people to enjoy in the heavy fog. I think it wants to settle on the relationship between the spirit and the flesh, which is the root of man. But in the end, in addition to the skin, does it also have a formed soul? The film's shooting tone covers these issues, making people wonder if this is just a painting.
