A fairy tale is a story that never ends...

The backdrop for Miyazaki's films has always been a world of ambiguity. This world seems familiar, but always has a magical color. "Princess Goldfish on the Cliff" happened again in such a seaside:

the seaside, a cliff with a thousand feet; a road winding up like a snake; the top of the cliff overlooking the sea is a dreamy little villa , which lives in an optimistic and brave mother and her 5-year-old son.

In the sea, the bottom of the sea is thousands of feet deep; there is a strange castle shining with magic light; strange-shaped underwater creatures shuttle around the castle as finely as a texture; in the castle, there lives a man who masters the magic that balances the world. Weird, and a naive little mermaid.

Just such a glass bottle, just such a wave, so casually, the little mermaid princess, from the deep and clear sea bottom, was held by the side of the human child. Fate can always bring people together from the ends of the earth. Fate is usually followed by a "promise". The child took the bucket containing the unconscious little mermaid to the water pipe, and promised the little mermaid: From now on, I will protect you...

"From now on, I will protect you..."

Such a sentence can make people feel , soars to become a god; you can also let God, give up eternal life, and descend to the mortal world.

In a trance, the little mermaid should have heard it. Her tender heart also burst into a few bright fireworks. The following stories, like all love stories, give up for love; work hard for love; overcome difficulties and dangers for love. Like a moth, seeing the light, it will enter a state of hypnosis, it will fly over, and it will pounce, even if it is waiting for her, it will be annihilated with a snap.

So is the little mermaid. She smashed the castle in which she was imprisoned, she grew human hands and feet, she stepped on thousands of surging waves, and rushed to her lover. She doesn't care how her departure will hurt the hearts of her relatives, and she doesn't care how many lives will be swept away by those monstrous waves. In her heart, she desperately wanted to pounce on the person who promised to protect her.

However, how long is the promised shelf life?

In fairy tales, lovers who make promises will always live happily ever after. But what about in reality? Not because promises are forgotten, nor because love is gone, in the ticking of the clock, in the extension of life, those promises will eventually come to an end.

Maybe Miyazaki didn't want to tear something apart for others to see. He has become warm, he wants to make the audience feel comfortable, and he wants the fairy tale to go on forever. The little mermaid in the story, wrapped in bubbles, leaped and flew down, kissing the lips of a human child. The bubble burst, her magic was gone, the picture was frozen, and she went down to earth...

Maybe we shouldn't pursue the omissions of the plot, maybe we shouldn't pursue the outcome of the fairy tale. Hayao Miyazaki has already decided to stop obsessively going back to the end of the promise and the end of the story, so why should we be ignorant of estimating the vitality of this love story? Let's relax and enjoy the ever-changing sea, the dazzling psychedelic magic and the innocence.

A fairy tale is a story that never ends.

I feel that Hayao Miyazaki can really see things from the perspective of children. Every move is true and the story is very warm.

I'm in pain, I've traveled thousands of miles, looking wearily, just to come and see you.
