What would you fall in love with?
From start to finish, we didn't know why Ben was drinking. As from the beginning to the end, we do not know why they fell in love.
Ben and Sarah, both left Los Angeles and came to Las Vegas. Ben, as he said, was to drink himself to death.

Why do they love each other.

Ben knew he would eventually die. because of drinking.
Ben was so happy that Sarah didn't mind that he liked to drink, and even bought a jug for himself.
Sarah was very happy that she didn't mind her career, so she gave her earrings, and said that she could bring them when picking up guests.
